Building Apache httpd

I took a bit of a break today and tried to build Apache 2.28 on my machine. It seemed to be looking in the wrong place for libtool, and the more I looked the weirder it got. Rather than waste a bunch of time figuring out the whys and wherefores I asked Gozer, and he pointed me to the “–with-included-apr” option to “configure” that works around the issue.

I’ll have to do a bit of work to weed out the existing (incorrect) APR installation, but that can go on the to-do list.
