More late-light shooting

Today I got lucky and managed to fit in some shooting down at Lost Lagoon and got some good shots of a female common merganser (Mergus merganser). She was hanging out with a bunch of dabblers for no apparent reason — there is no way she would have been interested in the bread or seeds the dabblers were eating. The other common mergansers werehanging out a short distance away.

I got a good over-the-shoulder shot of her before the light left, though. There were a few other good shots there, too. Now I just need to get the time to get them put up on
my Flickr photostream.
